setVariableValueExt for Single Datasource, Possible?

Hello,

I have an issue where by I currently have Application.setVariableValueExt working nicely with dates

I have introduced a new datasource where I am using the same variables. (But I need to pass different values)

However, I do not want to pass the values used in the variables that I am specifying in Application.setVariableValueExt. I want to specify different variables for this particular query only.

Is this possible?
