Set "initialized" datasource back to "not initialized"

Hi,

is it possible to "reset" a datasource that once was loaded and initialized to the "not initialized" state?

I'm asking in the context of the variable refresh. If a datsource was not yet initialized a variable refresh won't reload this specific datasource.

If you could manage to set the initialization-state by coding you could at least a bit manage which datasources have to be reloaded.

Any hints are welcome
