I've recently followed Martijn van Foeken's excellent blog http://scn.sap.com/community/businessobjects-design-studio/blog/2014/06/05/sap-businessobjects-design-studio-13--deployment-on-sap-hana on how to build Design Studio apps directly on Hana.
I'm able to connect from 1.3 Design Studio to our Hana instance (SP8 rev 83), and save an app with standard DS elements. This executes OK on Hana.
But as soon as I click on "Add Data Sources", I get the following dump pop up:
Failed to execute command "com.sap.ip.bi.zen.ui.commands.addDataSource".
There's a long Exception stack trace of which I've included the key parts below. It seems to suggest the failure happens when trying to process the DataSource history.
Design Studio still allows me to browse my Hana views after this pop up, but whatever I select just gets ignored. Instead another "Unhandled event loop exception" is logged.
Does anyone have any advice how to resolve this? I've tried reinstalling Design Studio, and also importing all the Delivery Units on the Hana side. I've also restarted our Hana database.
Any ideas much appreciated!
