I am experiencing a problem with Design Studio 1.4 SP1 when using a BEx query as a data source on top of a Hana view.
I can construct the DS Initial View the way I require and can select 2 out of 4 available Measures to display as columns which works in the Initial View Editor perfectly. However as soon as I click OK to apply the linked Crosstab shows that it has reverted to the Measure structure as laid out in the BEx query, which is all 4 measures being displayed, or none if set to "Hidden but can be shown".
Previously in DS 1.3 I was able to pick any combination of Measures I needed, 4 out of 30 was no issue; So I am unsure if this issue is now related to 1.4 or if there is another underlying issue causing this because of the Hana system.
We have tried all the Measure visibility settings in BEx, visible, hidden, hidden but can be shown; but the Initial View always reverts back to the structure as defined in the BEx query, making it almost impossible to work with from Design Studio.
Any thoughts?
