What are the various possibilities by which we can create a prototype in DS ? In Xcelsius/Dashboards, we usually can enter some sample data into embedded excel and can create a prototype but in DS i observed that until and unless it is connected to a data source we cannot visualize the components (Graphs,Cross tabs etc). As we have various users in different domains/subject areas, they can access the data/queries of their domain only. Hence we are unable to create a prototype which can be accessed by all the users. Our requirement is like,
- To create and document a prototype with sample data which highlights all the features in Design Studio.
- All interested users should be able to open it, play with the features of DS within prototype as documented and evaluate the tool to know if it best suits them/ better than BO Dashboards.
We would like to create a live playground to the people to see how easy it is to use Design Studio. Please do share thoughts on this as it will helps us to transition DS to more users.
