we are planning to invent DesignStudio as our new reporting tool but we are facing following issue.
We justed moved the ERP system into a HANA Database with an embedded BW inside (so ERP and BW is on one HANA Appliance). We like to build HANA Views and pass those views through the embedded BW to join them with BW objects, ending in a composite provider. On top of this composite provider we like to build a BEx Query. We don´t want to set up a BO server and also have no java stack. Therefore we are planning to install DesignStudio on HANA to build and consume the reports native on HANA.
Will it be possible to use the builded BEx Queries when we using DesignStudio on HANA or can we only use Analytical and Calculation Views as a DataSource?
