Global Scripts - Can be used for performance improvement?

Hi All,

I know its too late for asking this question. But still I would like to know if using Global Scripts from DS1.4 onward will there be any performance improvement in the execution time of the Design Studio Applications?? As far as I have implemented I see it has reduced the code redundancy(In earlier versions onClick event of invisible buttons were called for executing the same set of code several times.)

I would like to hear pros and cons of using Global Scripts from performance perspective..
