We are using Design Studio 1.5 and SAP BW 7.4. In a Design Studio Application we have an input ready BW query and we would like to read specific cells from this crosstab into the Design Studio Script.
We are aware that it is possible to read BW data into the Design Studio Script (e.g. by DATASOURCE.getDataAsString(...); ), but since we are using an input ready BW query it is possible that the user has overwritten this value. We would like to read this value before saving it to BW.
In case that this is not (yet) supported by Design Studio it would be beneficial if you could post the documentation / a statement from SAP that this is not possible.
Further question: Is there a function that allows us to set specific values in a crosstab with an input ready query before saving the data?
