I know there is a row limit of 5000 or 50000 data cells on a .unx data source in Design Studio, and there is an idea on Idea Place for this functionality to be change. To work around this, Is there any way to dynamically pass a parameter of a selected value to the a unx data source to get around this limitation.
It's not that I need to show >5000 data points in the application. It's the linkage between 1 data source that is <5000 rows, to a data source that is >5000 rows that I really need. I haven't found a way to interactively drill from an aggregated data set to a view base on a granular data source (>5000 rows/50000 cells). If I could pass a selected value from the aggregated data source to the detailed data source with parameter to filter the granular data below the 5000 row limit without the user receiving a prompt, it would a great win. I personally haven't found a way to interactively filter the granular (>5000 rows) data sets without a user prompt. Any ideas?
