I am having issues launching Design Studio Client 1.5. I click the launch icon and the SAP Design Studio boilerplate launches, then it goes away and the Design Studio screen (or any other screen) never show up. However, if I go into Windows Task Manager, I can see two processes running there:
- SapDesignStudio
- SapDesignStudioVM
Here is the background:
> I was successfully running DS 1.4 in my laptop. I uninstalled it. I deleted the Analysis-config and Analysis-workspace folders in
C:\Users\<USER>. Also I checked nothing was left in folder: C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\Design
Studio
> I installed Design Studio 1.5 for Windows 64-bit (I run Windows 7 in my 64-bit Dell laptop)
I have to manually kill the two processes listed above to try to launc DS again. When I kill the VM process, I get the error screen posted below.
I have uinstalled DS 1.5 and install it again with the same results...
Any idea as to what may be happening? Your help will be appreciated.
