I have a requirement for a line chart showing comparison between the values of the dimension. Starting will the total after that you can select one by one the rest of values and they will be shown in the chart. FOr each value with have different line and it should maintain always the same color.
I am using checkbox group showing all values for the dimension and which is used as a filter for the query, all selected values are shown on the line chart. The problem is when the values are selected one by one the order is not always the same and the colors are assigned to the series of the chart, so it is changing depending on the selection:
In Xcelsius we are able to retrieve all the values for the chart and after that we have the option to activate the hide/show property in the legend, which is help us to create the same functionality in easier way and without the risk of color changing.
I have tried also using the conditional formatting, for each of the values, but it is changing the color of the point, which contain the data, not the line.
Is there any workaround or different way to obtain the same functionality?
