I've been a long time DS SCN lurker, but decided to finally break my silence to ask for some assistance with the issue detailed below.
I have set up a very basic background processing scenario. The app consists of 1 cross-tab (DS_1) and 1 chart (DS_2). DS_2 is loaded in script (TRUE) on start-up. Below I show the two cases that present themselves when running the App.
CASE 1: I wait until both datasources are loaded. The result of course is as expected:
CASE 2: I used the horizontal scroll-bar on the crosstab before DS_2 (or the background processing) completes loading and rendering. The result is a weird one (or maybe not if I am missing something). If the scroll bar is used, DS_2 completes loading, but, the chart does not render at all:
Has anyone seen something like this, or does anyone have a good explanation for the above behaviour?
System specs:
Design studio - 1.5 (no SP's)
BIP - 4.1 SP4
Datasources - BEx queries built on multiprovider (running BW on HANA)
