Working with HANA Datasource

Hi All,

When we create a HANA Data source with multiple dimensions and measures, does design studio query the HANA data source every time we apply dimension filters or does it bring all the data locally and try to filter the data set locally?

Also is there any limitation on the number of rows we fetch when we try to connect to HANA data source?
