Dear Experts,
I am facing the error while trying to connect the Design studio v1.5 (64 bit) in SAP HANA mode. I googled for this issue on SCN but couldn't get the issue fix, i could see help to setup the HANA mode in design studio but do not find concrete solution for the error i am facing.
I have performed the following steps -
1. I added a system DSN for HANA server using HDBODBC driver and tested that its successfully connected to HANA server.
2. I opened Design Studio and followed path -- Tools--> Preferences --> Application Design -->Backend Connection , and selected HANA DSN (as reffered in step1) under 'SAP HANA Conections (maintained in ODBC Data Soiurce Administrator)'.
Please note that nothing is added under SAP HANA Connections (HTTP).
3. Now i selected preferred startup mode as SAP HANA under Tools--> Preferences --> Application Design , Restarted the Design Studio.
4. On Restart it ask me user id, psw,XS Engine URL ([http|https]://<host name>:<web dispatcher port>) where i am giving HANA host and port no. and it it gives me error " Failed to create HTTP connection". Incase i give IP Address of Host and port number then i get error "Java.net.socketException Unexpected end of file from server"
Please help to guide root cause of this issue.
