Design Studio 1.5 SP 2
BusinessObjects 4.1 SP 5
BEx Query Designer 7.X (based on 7.40) SP 0 Revision 739
BusinessWarehouse 7.4
On some of my charts, the y-axis has duplicate numbers, e.g., if the marks should be 0, 1 then I see 0, 1, 1 or sometimes 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1. It only occurs when the highest value on the y-axis is less than 10. This does not happen on all charts.
I have two versions of the dashboard - one which uses BEx queries and one which uses queries against a BObj IDT universe based on Oracle tables (long story). Both exhibit the problem.
I searched SCN and the net in general and have only found one note from Nov 2014 - 365398 - with a resolution by Fazith Ali Zakir.
I reviewed this note which suggests that the issue may be resolved with decimal place formatting. I have set the decimal places to 0 for all counters in the BEx queries with no effect on this issue (and in fact no effect on the decimal place formatting in the charts at all. All counters still have three decimal places).I have responded to Fazith requesting elaboration but do not know if he is still in the network.
I have not seen where the decimal places may controlled in Design Studio but I am far from a power user at this point.
Has anyone else seen this issue?
Thanks!
Jeff
