Hi Everyone, my second post for the same issue. Because my earlier post was rejected citing to post my research/efforts on how I tried to solve the problem.
So, I have a requirement to open a child dashboard from parent dashboard (both developed in design studio). Hyperlinking is typically done in Design Studio using Application.OpenNewWindow(http:/........) command. When you have this the child dashboard opens up in New Window.
But my requirement is to open the child dashboard in the same window. Unfortunately the OpenSameWindow (or a similar command) does not exist in Design studio.
I have searched through forums here for similar. but everyone talks about connecting Design Studio Dashboard to WebI, Design Studio Dashboard to Crystal reports, Design studio dashboard to Analysis Application.......... Design studio dashboard passing variables to another dashboard but their requirement doesn't have the child dashboard to be opened in same window.
