After searching in forum and found no luck, posting this...
I am using DS 1.5 SP2. I have a crosstab with BEx query as source and the data i get from BW is around 1500 rows in this crosstab. Each row has around 25cells.(Dimensions and Measures).
To produce the report output system takes initially about 1min and when i see the crosstab data and when i try to scroll right or scroll down, it hangs and the IE throws a message at the bottom of the screen like in the below attached image, something related to long-running script. The report does not have much script - could say a maximum of 20 lines to update few text boxes and scaling factors. It takes about 10mins for that message to go off and only after that it allows me to scroll and see the data completely.
Has anybody seen this kind of behavior ? Is this problem due to the volume of data in the crosstab ? Apart from filtering the data to limit number of output rows, Is there a way to improve the performance and avoid that message ?
