Hello Experts,
Recently I achieved a requirement where I need to add/remove a measure to Column chart dynamically based on selection of Check box in Design Studio on top of HANA Calculation view. I achieved this requirement by using setDataSelection method of Chart component. The functionality is working fine, but the measure colors are not fixed, they are changing.
The data source (HANA Calculation view) has the measures namely Orders Booked, Net Sales, Cost of Sales and Margin. By default, I am displaying 3 measures namely Orders Booked, Net Sales and Margin.
When Cost of Sales measure is selected, I am displaying all the 4 measures in the Order of Orders Booked, Net Sales, Cost of Sales and Margin.
I have assigned the following colors to these measures in Chart.
Orders Booked - Orange
Net Sales - Green
Cost of Sales - Pink
Margin - Blue.
When I remove Cost of Sales from Chart by clearing check box of Cost of Sales, automatically Margin gets Pink color.
When I add Cost of Sales, then Margin measure gets blue and pink assigned back to Cost of Sales measure. It looks like colors are assigned for position, hence Pink color is switching between Cost of Sales and Margin.
Our Busienss would like to see fixed colors for these measures ( Say Pink for Cost of Sales and Blue for Margin). If we keep Cost of Sales as 4th measure this issue will be resolved, but the order of measures should be same (Orders Booked, Net Sales, Cost of Sales and Margin).
Any idea how to fix these colors? I have searched for this issue in SCN but did not get any information.
I am using Design Studio 1.6.

Satyam
