Calling Script function "SetVariableExt" within Application return ERROR...

Hi Experts,

I would highly appreciate, if you could share your thoughts or any possible work around on the below scenario.

Scenario – 1 –  Error while generating HTML (Tried both functions SetVariableExt/SetVariable).

Question ? -

1. Is it possible to call "setVariable" script within the application, other than "OnVariable Initialization" windowPanel?
2. Dimension Filter from Universe is not Recognized by Design Studio, any idea why?
   

Objective

• Passing a desired value for Prompt(Type) and then call the script within the dashboard.

Steps are as follows:-

1. Data Source Universe / Design Studio 1.6
2. Using Button Component – Set the “Variable ValueExt” on application level.
3. When Button gets click, it throws the below error message.
