What approaches are being used to centrally create and maintain Portable Fragment Bookmarks?

Hi All,

I think Portable Fragment Bookmarks are an excellent feature for allowing fragments (or Smart Objects as referred to in the Online Composition scenario) to be created and managed by a central group of designers / power users for consumption / reuse by end users in their own self-service dashboards as described in the blog post Design Studio 1.4: Portable Fragment Bookmarks & Reuse in Applications by Karol Kalisz.

However, one significant limitation when it comes to centrally creating and managing Portable Fragment Bookmarks is that even if a user has edit authorisation to the bookmark folder on the BI Platform where a portable fragment bookmark has been saved, only the original creator of the bookmark can update it by changing and re-saving it in the producer application.  It doesn't seem to be possible to share the ability to edit Portable Fragment Bookmarks across a central team responsible for maintaining them.

I am wondering how others are approaching this issue in the case of a requirement for the creation and management of portable fragment bookmarks by a central team?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mustafa.
