I have this major Question in DS regarding the performance.
I have noticed that two commands, getMemberList, which is the important function to load Dropdown/LIstbox and the getDataAsString which we need to use to load text boxes to get the KPI tile look, is delaying the initial load by 1sec & 5sec respectively.
Why is that these two commands take so much time? because this is significantly reducing the initial load of the application!
We are using Dimension filters to overcome the Dropdown/Listbox Issue, but it is not attractive or simply intuitive enough as Dropdown/Listbox

But we are stuck with the getDataAsString function, I've used this command just twice and it has brought down my Dashboard which loaded under 10 seconds to over 15 seconds. This Dashboard has been optimized in every other way, but this issue is dragging it down.
Can anyone tell me why this is the case and the proper workaround for these functions?
