I am new to SAP BW, currently working on design studio. I need your advises to implement BW hierarchies in my dashboard.
We need to show summarised data(3 graphs on screen) at region level(org unit). When user clciks on next level (sub org unit), the graphs should show data at sub org unit level. Please note that Org unit at level 6 in hierarchy and sub org unit is ate level 7 in hierarchy. In the display, we should not show the level1, level 2, level 3....level 5 data. We need to display from level 6 and level 7.
By default, dashboard should show data at leve 6 (organisation unit) and then user should be able to drill down to level 7, sub organisdation unit.
My Questions are:
1. How to implement this scenario?
2. What is the best component to show this organisation unit. the same component should allow us to drill down to next level, on going to next level, all the graphs should show data at next level
I tried with Dimension filter. But, it is showing all the levels. I have attached the hierarchy view screenshot. I need to see the levels only that are marked in yellow in dimension filter. How to restrict that.
In the beginning. all the graphs will display data for all org units. User should should be able to filter data on org unit.
If user clicks on asia(org unit), then the 3 graphs should display data for Asia. then in the next level, if user clicks on India(sub org unit),
graphs should display data for India. But, we should not go to state level, even if state is part of hierarchy.
Please help me to achieve this.
