When I try to filter a data source in the background with the help of dimension filter as input, currently I am unable to find the API which does this. Below is the screenshot of the COMAWATERFALL data source that I am trying to filter in the background. We are trying to apply filter on Business unit dimension “ZBU_NEW”. In the dashboard “BU NEW” is a dimension filter. Is there any API to capture the user input for this filter and supply this input to the data source.
We have to use the dimension filter itself since drop downs donot allow multiple selections and display a hierarchy. For a drop down box for which there is an API “getSelectedValue”. Does a similar API exist for dimension filter?
