I have doing a variance report between data for this year and last year.
so in the BEX Query, we have expense keyfigure that is restricted by current year and then expense figure restricted key year - 1.
The current year is ofcourse a selection variable with default as current year.
The above report works well when I run in BEX Analyzer & is input to the design studio report.
So when I run the report initially, it works right & shows me the expense for this year and another column for expense of last year.
But if I go the filter panel and change the year to 2013 or 2012, it will show me the right figure for the current year field, but the expense for year-1 will be blank all the time...
All I am doing in the filter panel when I click 'Apply' is,
APPLICATION.setVariableValueExt("0P_FYRA", DS_1.getFilterText("0FISCYEAR"));
where 0P_FYRA is the variable in the bex query.
Not sure what I am doing wrong in the filter panel... Did someone had similar issues with the filter panel? I say filter panel because it works well in the Analyzer..
