Single value dimension in Textbox

Hi Guys,

i have a requirement to show the last refresh date of the cube in Design Studio, i have a bex query which filtered to one DSO which will return one value (date).

I tried all possible way with my knowledge to add the date in textbox, nothing worked

I tried with listbox using setitems and getmemberlist, The listbox showing all the dates even the bex query return one date.

I tried in the crosstab then i am getting the date which i looking for.

So, is that mean my only choice is to use crosstab?
