I'm currently trying to work with Design Studio. I installed it in a Monsoon Windows VM, which also has the SAP GUI for the central Logon installed.
However, if I'm trying to make use of an existing backend connection via the SAP Logon. This works, as I can see the connection and find the views, which I want to use as a data source. However, when I link that data source to e.g. a Crosstab or open the "Edit Initial View" window for that data source, I get a "No Data Available" (German "Keine Daten verfügbar") message in the live preview pane (see attached screenshot). However, I'm able to see the meta data (like the columns) of that view.
I additionally tried it in a local VM, which also didn't work.
Does anybody know a potential reason or workaround for that issue? Do I need to setup a special connection parameter or something like this?
