I am trying to get personalization work in Design Studio 1.3 and so far it did not work. I have a dashboard that is connected to 6 data sources and I am loading these sources in the background mode. All interactions between the dashboard components are also being processed in background mode so that I can show and hide the loading messages. Based on the documentation, I understand that personalization skips the "Variable Initialization" and "Startup" events. So, I turned OFF background processing and also "Load on Script" for all these data sources to false. Even after changing this behavior, personalization did not work for me. The only time it ever worked for me was with a simple dashboard with 2 data sources and a couple of charts. Is this because there are too many interactions within my dashboard for personalization to save all settings? This is surprising because bookmarking works just fine with this dashboard (even with all the existing background processing steps). Has anyone experienced issues with personalization? This is one of the features promised to our client and we are going live next week. Any feedback on this topic is highly appreciated.
